Michele’s love for yoga began as self prescribed therapy for an injury. After 25 years of dedicated cardio workouts at the local gym, she reluctantly accepted the fact that she needed a change and took her first class with a teacher who would eventually become her teacher in a 200 hour registered yoga teacher training program. Michele values the integrity, authenticity, genuine care and respect of the teachers who influenced her most. And so, she strives to bring that experience to all the students who honor her with sharing their practice. She loves yoga. And she loves people. And it is through her role as a yoga teacher that she has found a marrying of both passions. Holding a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology and spending years teaching and administering an English Language program enrich her ability and skill to connect with and guide her students to have a meaningful experience. Michele is also blessed to be a wife and a mother of two beautiful children. She was raised in Maryland, educated in Boston and New Hampshire, and resided in New York City for much of her adult life, but it was in Georgia that she found yoga and found her way home.
