RDN, LDN, 200 RYT, Shannon has been in private practice since 1997 as a registered dietitian nutritionist for individuals, corporations, amateur and professional athletes. Using a holistic and motivating platform, She has presented across the United States for numerous corporate retreats and conventions. Personalized education, recommendations, constant support and accountability help clients move toward total wellness to realize the vibrant, authentic life desired.

Shannon started a 200 hour YTT in 2004 before relocating to Georgia, finally coming full circle ten years later graduating in January 2014 from Lifted Heart Yoga where she was trained by Sheila McVay, Tami Roberts and Cybele Steen.  She loves to teach classes blending the physical strength of Vinyasa Flow and mental, emotional surrender through meditation and breath work. Infusing the joy of movement balanced through a creatively sequenced class that allows students to find their edge and also feed safe as they listen and learn what their bodies need is her passion. Her desire is that each student will leave class feeling empowered, open, connected and with a positive image of self, others and this amazing world we get to live in.

Shannon is currently working towards her 300 RYT and couldn’t be more excited to grow and share with the students at JCY. She continues her work as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and enjoys fusing her classes with health, total wellness and healing on all levels.
