Kristin’s first experience with yoga was at a prenatal class in 1996 when she was pregnant with her second child. She soon realized that not only was yoga beneficial in helping her to feel physically better, but it also gave her tools that she was able to use to help manage the challenges of her growing family. Her yoga practice has been an integral part of her life for many years, and as she is passionate about sharing the gift of yoga with others she felt the calling to complete her 200 hour yoga teacher training at Johns Creek Yoga. She is currently working to complete her 500 hour yoga teacher training at Johns Creek Yoga as well.
As a registered nurse and certified personal trainer, Kristin’s understanding of alignment, anatomy and physiology is reflected in her All Levels and Prenatal classes. As she also has a background in general fitness, running and triathlon, she understands the need for the integration of the mind, body and spirit. She seeks to empower her students by helping them to balance ease and effort, and softness and strength.
Kristin and her husband have two adult children and enjoy splitting their time between their home in Duluth and their cabin in the North Georgia mountains.
